Specialist Category Service (SCS)

We will provide you with the policy documents and risk-based solutions you need. We will also provide general guidance for health and safety matters, assisting you in ensuring effective management of health and safety and in achieving compliance with legal requirements.
You will have access to an online library of templates and supporting guidance documents that can be made specific to your school or activities.

We can guide you through the reporting requirements of RIDDOR (The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995). We can liaise with HSE Inspectors on your behalf and undertake accident investigations. Health and Safety training can be provided, and we can assist with ensuring health and safety is a key part of your improvement plans.

The online Plumsun Management Portal (PMP) database will provide a complete audit trail of all your policy documents, risk assessments and other documentation and make it easy to communicate these to staff and Governors for consultation or approval.

We can also arrange access to CLEAPPS for specialist technical advice on science and other higher risk subjects and activities.

Tailored Provision and Training (TPT)

We will provide specialist training and provision upon request, so that we can respond to your specific needs, such as;
Our Fire Risk Assessors can produce school fire risk assessments that meet the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, along with practical, prioritised action plans.

We can assist in training staff in general fire safety awareness, use of extinguishers and also fire marshal training to assist in emergency evacuations.
